New Festival Special Train Services Announced Between Coimbatore and Barauni

Indian Railways introduces special train services between Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and Barauni, Bihar, for the festive season, enhancing connectivity and catering to increased travel demand with departures on specific dates in November.

Coimbatore: In a significant move to facilitate travel during the festive season, Indian Railways has announced the introduction of special train services connecting Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu with Barauni, an industrial hub located in the Begusarai district of Bihar. These services are strategically timed to cater to the increased travel demand during this period.

Barauni, set on the banks of the iconic Ganges River in Bihar, north of the river, is a key industrial town and a crucial junction point in the railway network. This new connectivity aims to enhance travel convenience for passengers from both regions.

The festival special Express train will commence operations with two services scheduled to depart from Coimbatore on the 14th and 21st of November. The return services from Barauni are set for the 16th and 23rd of November. This initiative is expected to significantly ease the journey for passengers traveling to Coimbatore, especially during the busy festival season.

These special train services are a testament to the rising needs of Kongu region and Indian Railways’ commitment to improving connectivity and ensuring comfortable travel for passengers during peak travel times. The move is likely to be welcomed by travelers, providing them with a convenient and efficient mode of transportation between these two important regions.
