Coimbatore: Residents of Coimbatore’s Tatabad and surrounding areas are set to experience a significant power outage tomorrow, December 30, 2023, due to scheduled maintenance at the Tatabad substation. The electricity supply will be suspended from 9 AM to 5 PM, affecting multiple localities.

The areas impacted by this outage include Mettupalayam Road, Alagesan Road, Narayana Guru Road, Sai Baba Temple, Vanakkalloori, Murugan Mills, KK Pudur Street (from 1st to 8th Street), Bharathi Park one and two, Raja Annamalai Road, Central Theatre, DB Road, Flower Market Road, Kaliyappan Nagar, Sellappa Gounder Street, CSW Mills, Range Gounder Street, Suguvarpettai, Marakadai Teppakulam Ground, Ram Nagar Avinashi Road, Gandhipuram Bus Stand, Cross Cut Road, Siddhapudur, Balasundaram Road, Race Course, Tourist Bungalow, Air Force College, Puthiyavar Nagar, Aavarampalayam, Tatabad Alagappa Chettiar Road, and 100 Feet Road, among others.

Residents and businesses in these areas are advised to plan their activities accordingly and make necessary arrangements to mitigate the impact of the power cut. This maintenance work is part of the regular upkeep of the city’s electrical infrastructure to ensure its reliability and safety.
