CBCID arrests a person from Ukkadam, Popular Front Party members demand reason for arrest.


Close to hundred members of the Popular Front Party have gathered at the City Commissioner's office demanding the status of Abu Tahir, who was arrested at Gunpoint from his shop, yesterday.

Abu Tahir, Son of Jaffer Ali runs a footwear shop in Ukkadam. It is reported that yesterday, CBCID police arrested Abu Thahir at gunpoint in his shop. Upon knowing his son's sudden arrest, Abu Tahir's parents rushed to Ukkadam police station to know the reason for the arrest and to meet their son. But they could not get any information about their son from the Police, hence his parents along with members of Popular Front Party approached the City Commissioner's Office to know the whereabouts of their Abu Tahir.



In this regard, close to hundred people were seen in front of the Commissioner's Office demanding the reason for Abu Tahir's arrest and where he is presently kept for investigation?. 



Reports say, Abu Tahir's parents are being apprised that they will be allowed to meet their son by this evening and also Police have advised the crowd to disperse.
