Palaniyammal (81), an elderly woman from Ramarajapuram, Coimbatore, had come to submit a petition for senior citizen assistance. During the process, she suddenly fainted and collapsed.
The office staff quickly responded and arranged for a 108 emergency ambulance to transport Palaniyammal to the Coimbatore Government Medical College Hospital for immediate medical attention.
