Udumalai Maintains 100% Bus Service Amidst Labor Strike

Despite several labor unions, including the Anna Union, striking in Tirupur district's Udumalai, all local and outstation buses are operating normally with the help of temporary drivers.

Udumalai, in the Tirupur district, is currently witnessing a strike by various labor unions, including the Anna Union. Despite this, the local transport depot has managed to keep all 94 rural and outstation buses running as per the usual schedule. This has been made possible by employing temporary drivers to replace the union workers who are participating in the strike.







Officials from the transport depot have confirmed the seamless operation of bus services. Meanwhile, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mr. Sukumaran, is overseeing the security measures at the Udumalai bus station to ensure safety and prevent disruptions.
