Coimbatore: Today, amidst heavy rain, AIADMK members including Palladam city administrators and various labor union representatives like CITU and AITUC, staged a protest in front of the Palladam Government Bus Depot. They demanded the immediate fulfillment of transport workers' longstanding demands, including the disbursement of 96 months' pending dearness allowance and pension arrears to retired employees.
The protest, also attended by Tiruppur Regional Head Ravindran, Palladam City Secretary Ramamoorthy, advocate Ponnusamy, Tamil Nadu Palanisamy, City Treasurer Dharmar, and other branch secretaries like Ravi Prabhu, highlighted the just demands of transport sector workers and urged the government for immediate action.

Amidst slogans and rallying cries, the protesters emphasized the government's responsibility to address their grievances promptly.
