Tamil Nadu government announces distribution of Pongal gifts to all ration card holders in Annur on January 13 and 14.


Coimbatore: Following the Tamil Nadu government's announcement to provide Pongal gifts to all ration card holders, the distribution has begun for those who had already received tokens. The officials have now informed that those who have not received tokens can directly collect their Pongal gifts and goods at the fair price shops on January 13 and 14.

The Pongal gift package includes a cash amount of Rs.1,000 along with other essential items. This initiative is part of the government's effort to ensure that the festival of Pongal is celebrated with traditional fervor across all households. The distribution process is being carried out efficiently to accommodate all eligible recipients in Annur.
