Pongal Gift Distribution by East Zone Leader in Coimbatore

East Zone Leader of Coimbatore Municipal Corporation, Ilakkumi Ilanjselvi Karthik, distributed Pongal gift packages and sugarcane in the 52nd Ward, including Peelamedu and Annanagar areas.


Coimbatore: In a celebration of the Pongal festival, Ilakkumi Ilanjselvi Karthik, the East Zone Leader of Coimbatore Municipal Corporation, spearheaded a gift distribution event today at fair price shops in the 52nd Ward, covering Peelamedu and Annanagar. The event marked the distribution of Pongal gift packages, ₹1000 in cash, and sugarcane to the public.



The function saw the participation of Executive Committee Member Ve. Balasubramaniam, General Body Member Pudur Manikandan, Zone Secretary Narayanan, CTC Nataraj, Muthupandi, Pudur Sundarraaj, Manikkam (HUDCO COLONY), Vasu (AUTO), and other party administrators and affiliates.



The initiative not only celebrated the harvest festival but also showcased the dedication of local leaders in engaging and supporting the community. The recipients expressed their appreciation, highlighting the efforts of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin, for this thoughtful gesture.
