Coimbatore: Vanathi Srinivasan, BJP National Women's Wing Leader and Coimbatore South MLA, in a statement, criticized the Congress party's decision to not attend the consecration ceremony of the Ayodhya Sri Ram Temple. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh announced that former Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Leader Mallikarjun Kharge, and Lok Sabha leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury would not be participating in the event scheduled for January 22nd.
