Urgent Repair Requested for Broken 'Athikadavu Drinking Water Pipe' in Coimbatore

Residents of Karumathampatti-Somanur main road, Coimbatore, demand immediate repair of the broken Athikadavu drinking water main, causing water wastage and potential traffic hazards.


Coimbatore: Today, residents along the Karumathampatti-Somanur main road in Coimbatore have urgently requested the repair of the broken Athikadavu drinking water main. The incident occurred on 11.01.2024, leading to significant water wastage as the water flows into the drainage.



This has resulted in waterlogging on the road, causing inconvenience and potential safety hazards for motorists. The accumulation of water has also increased the risk of accidents in the area. Consequently, locals have appealed to the Coimbatore City Corporation and the Water Board authorities to promptly address and fix the water pipeline to prevent further wastage and mitigate traffic issues.
