AIADMK Hosts 7th Annual Pongal Festival at Sri Valliyamman Temple in Marudamalai

The AIADMK celebrated its 7th annual Pongal festival at the Sri Valliyamman Temple in Marudamalai, Coimbatore, with over a hundred women and children participating in the festivities.

The AIADMK, under the leadership of Senthilprabhu, Joint Secretary of the Amma Peravai of Coimbatore City District, inaugurated the 7th annual Pongal celebration at the Sri Valliyamman Temple in Marudamalai on January 15th.

The event was marked by the participation of over a hundred women and children who gathered to prepare and offer Pongal, a traditional festive dish. The celebration was also attended by key members of the DMK Women's Wing, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.

This event not only celebrated the festival of Pongal but also showcased the cultural heritage and community spirit prevalent in Coimbatore. The involvement of prominent AIADMK officials and the local community reflected the shared enthusiasm for Tamil Nadu's rich traditions and customs.
