Coimbatore: The Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) in Udumalai, near Tirupur District, celebrated Maattu Pongal with traditional fervor, following the advice of party leader Dr. Ramadoss and Anbumani Ramadoss. The event took place in Andiya Goundanoor village, Kizhavan Kaattur, under the leadership of Tirupur West District PMK Secretary, Palanisamy.

According to Palanisamy, the celebration was a gesture of gratitude towards cattle, which play a crucial role in farming throughout the year.
