Following the arrest of Abu Tahir, suspect in Sasikumar murder case SDPI party members host protest


It may be recalled that Hindu Munnani leader C Sasikumar who was attacked and hacked to death by unidentified assailants in Coimbatore last September. The CBCID who is investigating this case arrested Abu Tahir of Sai Baba colony in Coimbatore.

Following this arrest, about 300 members and loyalists of the SDPI party staged a protest before the South tasildar’s office in the city. The protestors claim that the charges that have been framed against Abu Tahir are false.
