107th Birth Anniversary of MGR Celebrated by AIADMK in Kangayam

The AIADMK party in Kangayam celebrated the 107th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister and revolutionary leader MGR with grandeur, including floral tributes and sweet distribution.


Coimbatore: In a grand celebration organized by the AIADMK Kangayam town committee, the 107th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister and revolutionary leader MGR was commemorated. The event, led by the town committee secretary Venkatesh G Manimaran, witnessed floral tributes to MGR's portrait and distribution of sweets across 18 wards in Kangayam Municipality. Prominent locations including Bharathiyar Street, Thiruvik Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar, Moorthi Rettipalayam, Ayyasamy Colony, Kalimed, Karthik Nagar, and Puliman Nagar participated in the celebrations.

Key AIADMK leaders, including state deputy secretary of the Puratchi Thalaivi Peravai Ashok Kumar, city district treasurer K.G.K. Kishore Kumar, city district youth wing joint secretary C. Kandasamy, district MGR youth wing joint secretary A.P. Duraisamy, district trade wing deputy secretary N. Balakrishnan, district lawyer wing treasurer S. Selvakumar, town committee chairman K.K. Palanisamy, and town deputy secretary A.A. Palanisamy, among other party administrators and the general public, attended the event.
