Coimbatore Police Commissioner Awards Winners at Puliyakulam Football Tournament

Coimbatore: The Puliyakulam Football Club, marking the Pongal festival, organized its annual South India level football tournament at the St. Anthony’s School ground in Puliyakulam today. The tournament featured competitions in 14, 17 age groups and an open category.

Commissioner of Coimbatore City Police, Balakrishnan, graced the closing ceremony. He presented trophies and certificates to the winning teams, recognizing their talent and sportsmanship in the tournament. The event not only celebrated the sport but also brought together young talent from across South India, highlighting the importance of sports in youth development.
