Family of deceased Corporation worker handed over compensation.

Ramesh, a sanitary worker from the Corporation died on 8th March 2017, while he was at work in ward No:81. On the same day, an initial compensation of Rs.40,000 was provided to the deceased's family. 

Today, Corporation Commissioner Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan handed over a cheque of Rs. 10,00,00/- collected from the concerned contractor and handed over to the family of Ramesh. He also conveyed his heartfelt condolence to the family members of Ramesh. Deputy Corporation Commissioner P. Gandhimathi and other zonal officials were also present.
