DMK Organizes Public Meeting in Coimbatore to Honor Language Martyrs on January 25

Coimbatore DMK announces a public meeting on January 25 to commemorate Language Martyrs' Day, with key political figures set to address the gathering.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City District DMK Secretary, Na. Karthik, Ex.MLA, has announced a public meeting scheduled for January 25, 2024, at 5:30 PM on V.K.K. Menon Road, Siddhapudur. Organized by the Coimbatore City DMK Student's Wing, the event marks 'Language Martyrs' Day.'

The meeting will be graced by the presence of Dr. P.T.R. Palanivel Thiagarajan, Tamil Nadu Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services, along with Minister for Housing, Urban Development, Prohibition and Excise, S. Muthusamy, and the party's chief spokesperson, Th. Adhithan.

DMK officials from the Coimbatore city district, including the Mayor, executive committee members, public committee members, local secretaries, local government representatives, organizational secretaries, deputy organizational secretaries, area committee administrators, BLA-2, and party volunteers, are expected to attend.

The gathering aims to pay tribute to the sacrifices made by language martyrs and highlight the importance of linguistic heritage. The event also serves as a platform for key DMK leaders to address current political issues and engage with party members and supporters.
