Coimbatore: In an incident causing temporary traffic disturbance, a private parcel service lorry overturned yesterday morning while en route from Sulur to Palladam. The driver, 40-year-old Prakash, was at the wheel when the accident occurred near Kangayampalayam, Sulur.
The incident reportedly happened as the driver applied brakes to avoid hitting a car ahead, leading to the loss of control. Subsequently, the lorry hit the center median and toppled onto one side.
