This annual pilgrimage draws participants ranging from young to old, embarking on their spiritual journey from Thudiyalur near Appanaickenpalayam.

The Thaipusam festival, known for its vibrant processions and devout rituals, witnesses devotees walking through the night to reach the hilltop temple by dawn.
