Two Arrested for Attacking News 7 Journalist in Palladam; legs broken while trying to escape say cops

Praveen, 27, from Erode Sooramapatti, and Saravanan, 23, from Tirupur KVR Nagar, were arrested for assaulting News 7 reporter Nesa Prabhu in Palladam.


Coimbatore: In a recent development concerning the assault on News 7 reporter Nesa Prabhu in Palladam, the police have apprehended two individuals identified as Praveen, aged 27, from Erode Sooramapatti, and Saravanan, aged 23, from Tirupur KVR Nagar.

The duo was arrested following an investigation into the attack. During their transfer for interrogation, both suspects attempted to escape by jumping out of the police jeep. This desperate escape attempt resulted in both sustaining leg fractures.

Presently, Praveen and Saravanan are admitted to the General Hospital, receiving treatment for their injuries.
