Special Hayagriva Homam Conducted at Lakshmi Narasimmar Temple Hoping for Exam Success of Students

A significant number of students from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, and other districts participated in the event in Pollachi.


Coimbatore: On January 29, a special religious ceremony, the Hayagriva Homam, was conducted at the renowned Lakshmi Narasimmar Temple on Palakkad Road, Pollachi.



This ritual was performed to seek blessings for students appearing in the Tamil Nadu state board exams for classes 10 and 12 scheduled in March.



The ceremony aimed to help students achieve high scores, excel in their education, and write their exams without fear.



A significant number of students from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, and other districts participated in the event.



The Hayagriva Homam, dedicated to Lord Hayagriva, the deity of knowledge and wisdom, involved chanting Vedic mantras and special offerings.



The names of the participating students were also included in a special archana for added blessings.

In a unique aspect of the ceremony, students recited the Lakshmi Hayagriva Maha Mantra 21 times and engaged in prayers. Parents and the general public also participated in the event. As a token of encouragement and good luck, pencils and pens were distributed to the students at the end of the ceremony.
