The Coimbatore City Corporation has initiated the third phase of underground drainage works in VPV Nagar, overseen by Councillor Karpagam Rajasekaran and Assistant Engineer Mr. Jainraj.
Coimbatore: In a major development for the city's infrastructure, the Coimbatore City Corporation has commenced the third phase of its underground drainage project in VPV Nagar. This initiative, which began on January 29, is part of the ongoing efforts to improve sanitation facilities in the areas under Ward 1.
The inauguration of the drainage work was led by Councillor Karpagam Rajasekaran in the presence of Assistant Engineer Mr. Jainraj. Also in attendance were the Circle Secretary Mr. P. Rajasekaran, the Engineering Team Organizer Mr. Prabhakaran, representatives Mr. Anbalagan and Mr. Sansom, along with administrators of the Residents' Welfare Association and members of the public.


In addition to this, road relaying work has been started near Appanaickenpalayam Bus Stop on the Third Athikadavu Project pipeline, where the road was damaged during the pipeline installation. Councillor Karpagam Rajasekaran inspected the site and urged the contractor to ensure the road is reconstructed to high standards and promptly.
