Request for Inspection of Newly Laid Road in Periyar Nagar - MLA Vanathi Srinivasan

MLA Vanathi Srinivasan calls for an immediate inspection by the Coimbatore Corporation of the newly laid tar road in Ward No. 64 Periyar Nagar, following public complaints about the substandard quality of the work.

Coimbatore: MLA Vanathi Srinivasan has raised concerns over the quality of a newly laid tar road in Periyar Nagar, within the southern constituency of Coimbatore, specifically in Ward No. 64. The road, completed on February 7, has been criticized by local residents for its poor quality. Complaints have surfaced that the road was not laid to the expected standards, with work being partially done and the road's width on both sides being less than the necessary four feet.

In light of these issues, MLA Vanathi Srinivasan has requested an immediate inspection by the Coimbatore Corporation to ensure that a high-quality tar road is properly constructed to meet the residents' expectations. This call for action underscores the need for accountability and quality assurance in public infrastructure projects.
