Road Construction Works Launched by MLA PRG. Arunkumar in Sarkar Samakulam

MLA PRG. Arunkumar initiated road construction works in Vellaianipatti and Andagappaalayam under the 15th Finance Commission funds and the Athippalayam Village Development Special Fund, marking significant development in Coimbatore's rural infrastructure.


Coimbatore: In a move towards enhancing rural infrastructure, MLA PRG. Arunkumar kicked off road construction projects in the Sarkar Samakulam area, specifically in Vellaianipatti and Andagappaalayam villages. The ceremony, which took place on February 8th, signifies the commencement of these vital infrastructure developments, funded by the 15th Finance Commission and the Athippalayam Village Development Special Fund.

The road construction in Vellaianipatti, funded with Rs. 11.85 lakhs, and in Andagappaalayam, with a budget of Rs. 37.32 lakhs, aims to improve connectivity and accessibility for the rural communities in these regions. The ground-breaking ceremony saw the presence of AIADMK party officials, supporters, and the general public, highlighting the community's support and anticipation for the project.



MLA PRG. Arunkumar's initiative underlines the government's commitment to upgrading rural infrastructure, ensuring better roads that are expected to contribute significantly to the local economy and the daily lives of the people. The development is a welcome step for the villagers, who have long awaited improvements to their transportation networks.
