Over a Thousand Students Participate in Special Homam at Udumalai Tirupati Temple

A special Lakshmi Hayagriva Homam was conducted for students appearing for public and competitive exams at the Udumalai Tirupati Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple, attracting over a thousand participants.


Coimbatore: The Udumalai Tirupati Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple, located near Pallapalayam in Tirupur district, hosted a special Lakshmi Hayagriva Homam for students preparing for their 10th grade, Plus 2 public examinations, and various competitive exams. This annual event began on the night of the first day, with priests chanting Vedic mantras and performing the puja. Prasadam was distributed at the end of the ceremony.



To continue this spiritual support, arrangements were made for students to participate in the pooja from 9 AM the following day. This event, organized by the Udumalai Tirupati Sri Balaji Charitable Trust and the Temple Maintenance Group, saw a massive turnout of students from the surrounding areas. They sought blessings from Lakshmi Hayagriva, the deity of wisdom and Saraswati’s guru, and Venkatesa Perumal for their academic endeavors. Following the darshan, students lined up to receive free educational materials, further aiding their preparation for upcoming exams.
