Karpagam Academy Hosts National Conference on Biotechnology and Nanobiotechnology Innovations

The Department of Biotechnology at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Council, organized a conference on the latest innovations in biotechnology and nanobiotechnology on February 9 and 10, 2024.


Coimbatore: The Karpagam Academy of Higher Education's Department of Biotechnology, under the Faculty of Arts Science Commerce and Management, in association with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a national conference on "INNOVATIVE ADVANCES IN BIOTECHNOLOGY AND NANOBIOTECHNOLOGY (IABNB-2024)."



The event was held at Umapathy Hall on February 9 and 10, 2024, drawing together experts, academicians, and students from across the country to discuss the latest developments and future prospects in the fields of biotechnology and nanobiotechnology.



The conference began with a warm welcome address by Dr. A. Sangilimuthu, Professor and Head of the Department of Biotechnology, followed by an inspiring inaugural address by Prof. Dr. B. Venkatachalapathy, Vice Chancellor of the Academy. The highlight of the event was the keynote address delivered by Prof. K. Arunkumar, Dean at the Central University of Kerala, Kasargode, who shared his valuable insights into the current trends and future directions of biotechnology and nanobiotechnology research.

Dr. C. Rajkuberan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, extended the vote of thanks, concluding the session on a high note. The conference served as a significant platform for budding scientists and researchers to gain exposure to the innovative advances in their fields, fostering a culture of research and innovation within the academic community.
