Coimbatore:

The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) conducted written examinations for the recruitment of second-grade policemen, prison guards, and firefighters across Tamil Nadu in December last year. The physical fitness tests for the successful candidates began on the 6th of this month.

In Coimbatore, the physical fitness tests were held separately for women at the Nehru Stadium and for men at the Police Training School Ground. On the first day, candidates underwent certificate verification, height measurement, and a running event. The following days included competitions like rope climbing, long jump, and shot put for those who passed the initial phase.

A total of 208 men and 229 women participated in the fitness test, which has been ongoing for five days and concludes today. Candidates who pass this phase will be called for an interview.
