MP Kanimozhi Assists Injured College Student Following Accident in Coimbatore

During her visit to Coimbatore for election manifesto preparations, DMK MP Kanimozhi facilitated emergency medical assistance for a college student involved in a road accident.

DMK Deputy General Secretary and Tuticorin Member of Parliament, Kanimozhi MP, took part in events preparing for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Coimbatore today (Feb. 10). After concluding her engagements, she was traveling by car from Coimbatore to Tirupur.



During her journey, she came across a college student who had been involved in a road accident on the Avinashi highway, near the Kaniyur toll gate. The student, who was riding a two-wheeler, collided with a truck and was found unconscious at the scene. Kanimozhi, witnessing the incident, promptly arranged for the injured student to be transported to the hospital in a vehicle belonging to a DMK party member, ensuring he received immediate medical attention.

This act of quick intervention highlights the responsiveness and civic responsibility of the parliamentarian, offering a glimmer of hope and timely support to the victim's family and underscoring the importance of public figures in emergency situations.
