'My Shopping My bag Expo' ends successfully, Volunteers honored.

'My Shopping My Bag expo' the first of it's kind expo featuring exclusive eco-friendly products that could be used as alternatives to plastic bags concluded this evening at the Corporation Kalaiarangam. 

At the valedictory function today, Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan distributed Certificate of participation and appreciation to the people for featuring their products and to all the volunteers who worked tirelessly to accomplish the task. 



The two-day expo flagged off on the 25th March aimed at creating a mass awareness among the people of this city to refrain from using plastics and shift to eco-friendly products made of coir, plant extracts, coconut shells, paper etc., This expo also urged the visitors to carry shopping bags made of cloth or any other eco-friendly material while they go for shopping and contribute towards conserving the environment.
