Today (Feb. 19), CPI in Coimbatore East Zone, near Kalapatti Athipalayam, provided meal plates, mats, and biscuits to Anganwadi children as part of their community support initiatives.
Coimbatore: In a commendable act of community support, the CPI's branch in Coimbatore's East Zone, near Kalapatti Athipalayam, distributed meal plates, mats, and biscuits to children at a local Anganwadi today (Feb. 19). This initiative aims to enhance the daily life and nutrition of the young children attending the Anganwadi.
The event was attended by Athipalayam's Balu, S. Vellingiri, R. Sasikumar, P. Jeevanantham, and K.C. Moorthy, who personally handed over the items to the Anganwadi workers. Additionally, various requests were made by the school teachers to the members of the Communist Party, who assured that these concerns would soon be brought to the attention of the Coimbatore District Collector and the government for further action.
