India will become a superpower in 2047: BJP President Annamalai in Coimbatore

The "En Mann En Makkal" rally, led by Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai, took place in the Pappanaickenpalayam area of Coimbatore, emphasizing BJP's ongoing efforts to empower women and highlight the central government's schemes in Tamil Nadu.


Coimbatore: The "En Mann En Makkal" rally, spearheaded by Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai, was held in the Pappanaickenpalayam area, under the Singanallur constituency of Coimbatore district on February 22, 2024. The rally, which started in Pazhayur and concluded near Sithaputhur, witnessed the participation of central deputy ministers L. Murugan, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, BJP National Women's Wing leader and Coimbatore South Assembly member Vanathi Srinivasan, along with numerous BJP officials.

The rally culminated in a grand public meeting near Sithaputhur. During her speech, Vanathi Srinivasan highlighted the central BJP government's commitment to women's progress, citing various beneficial schemes like the "Save the Girl Child" initiative and the Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme. She pointed out that the Prime Minister has transformed 2 crore women into lakhpati's, fulfilling his promise to empower women economically without treating them as mere vote banks. She also noted the 33% reservation provided to women, emphasizing the party's commitment to involving women in politics.

Deputy Minister L. Murugan, addressing the gathering, mentioned how the "My Land, My People" rally serves to convey the achievements of the BJP government to the public while also exposing the DMK government's failures and corruption. He stressed the significant support from the public for the rally, indicating a positive shift towards BJP in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry's 40 parliamentary constituencies.

The event underscored the rapid development path India has been on under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership over the past decade, aiming to make India a superpower by 2047. It highlighted various schemes that have significantly benefited the poor, including free housing, gas, and the Jal Jeevan Mission.

Annamalai also spoke at the event, emphasizing Coimbatore's renown for small businesses and the benefits reaped from the Mudra loan scheme. He assured the people of Coimbatore's continued support for BJP, reflecting the region's astute political awareness. He urged for a collective effort to ensure BJP candidates' victory in all 40 constituencies in Tamil Nadu in the forthcoming elections.
