Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Artists Shankar Mahadevan, Gurdas Maan to Attend Isha Mahashivratri 2024

Isha Mahashivratri 2024, to be held at Isha Yoga in Tamil Nadu, will feature Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar, along with performances by Shankar Mahadevan, Gurdas Maan, and other artists, drawing global attention with a 140 million viewer base.

Coimbatore: The Isha Mahashivratri 2024 event at Sadhguru's Ashram, set against the majestic backdrop of the Adiyogi statue in Tamil Nadu, is expected to be a grand spiritual gathering, drawing attention from over 140 million viewers globally. Scheduled for the evening of March 8 to the early hours of March 9, the event promises an immersive experience with meditation sessions led by Sadhguru, alongside a lineup of music and dance performances that celebrate the "grand night of Shiva."

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will grace the event, which is set to feature a star-studded array of performances from renowned artists including Shankar Mahadevan, Gurdas Maan, and others. The celebration will be broadcasted live in 22 languages worldwide through Sadhguru’s YouTube channels and major media networks, ensuring that the powerful meditations and cultural festivities reach a global audience.

Sadhguru, the guiding force behind the event, emphasizes the importance of staying awake, aware, and keeping the spine erect during the night to align with the natural upward movement of energy in the body. This aligns with the spiritual significance of Mahashivratri, which is seen as a time of great natural support for those engaged in spiritual practices.

The event's agenda includes the Pancha Bhuta Aradhana at Dhyanalinga, Linga Bhairavi Maha Yatra, Sadhguru's discourse, and the Adiyogi Divya Darshanam, among other activities. These ceremonies and practices are designed to cleanse, energize, and uplift the participants, offering them a profound spiritual experience.

In a historic move, PVR INOX will stream the 12-hour celebration live on select big screens across India, marking the first time the event is made available in theatres. This initiative aims to make the Mahashivratri celebration a truly immersive experience for spiritual seekers nationwide.

The event, which has previously surpassed global viewership records, including those of the Super Bowl and the Grammys, stands as a testament to the growing interest in spiritual well-being and Indian cultural heritage. With offerings such as Rudraksha Diksha, In The Grace of Yoga program, Yaksha Festival, Maha Annadanam, and Mahashivratri & Shivanga sadhana, Isha Mahashivratri 2024 is poised to be a beacon of spiritual awakening and celebration for millions around the world.
