Chief Minister MK Stalin spearheaded the inauguration remotely from Pollachi through a video conference, marking a pivotal moment in the state's medical advancements.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Ma. Subramanian attended the event held at the Coimbatore Government Hospital complex, where he inspected the newly constructed facilities. Following the inspection, the minister revealed to journalists a major leap in cancer diagnosis capabilities across Tamil Nadu.

He highlighted that previously, PET CT scans, essential for precise cancer detection, were only available in two locations statewide. These new additions are equipped with cutting-edge technology, set to improve patient care and medical services substantially.

This development underscores the Tamil Nadu government's commitment to advancing healthcare services and infrastructure, ensuring that residents have access to the best medical facilities and care.
