Traffic Diversions in Pollachi Due to Visit of Chief Minister M.K.Stalin

District Superintendent of Police Badri Narayanan announced traffic diversions in Pollachi on March 13, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, due to the visit of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin to distribute welfare schemes to the constituents.



Coimbatore: In light of the upcoming visit of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin to Pollachi on March 13, 2024, to distribute welfare schemes to the people, District Superintendent of Police Badri Narayanan has announced traffic diversions to be in effect from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

According to the official release, heavy vehicles will be rerouted as follows:

1. Heavy vehicles travelling from Pollachi to Coimbatore will be diverted at Gandhi Statue to take the Palakkad Road, turning right at Muthur through Nalligoundenpalayam, C. Gopalapuram, reaching North Palayam Road via Soolakkarai and then turning left at Roots Company towards Coimbatore.

2. Heavy vehicles coming from Coimbatore towards Pollachi-Udumalai will need to turn left at Kovilpalayam, proceed via Kakkadavu through Negamam Road to Negamam Four Road, reaching Palladam-Pollachi Road via Karappadi Junction and Anupparpalayam Tippanampatti.

These measures have been taken to ensure smooth flow of traffic and safety of the public during the Chief Minister's visit to the Pollachi Parliamentary Constituency for the welfare scheme distribution event.
