BJP State President Annamalai visited Koni Amman Temple and received blessings before filing his nomination for the Coimbatore Parliamentary election at the District Collector's office today.
Coimbatore: Today, in a spiritual start to his electoral campaign, BJP State President Annamalai visited the Koni Amman Temple to seek blessings before filing his nomination for the Coimbatore Parliamentary constituency.

Following the temple visit, he proceeded to the District Collector's office to officially submit his candidacy.

The visit to the temple was marked by a poignant moment when a newly married couple from Coimbatore, Ravi and Devika, sought blessings from Annamalai.

In a touching gesture, the couple fell at his feet to receive his blessings.
Adding to the significance of the occasion, the mother of Veera Ganesan, who was murdered in 1989, was also present. She was specially invited to bless Annamalai during this pivotal moment in his political journey.
Prominent figures including BJP's National Women's Wing leader Vanathi Srinivasan MLA, Arjun Sampath, and Sudhakar Reddy, along with other BJP officials, were in attendance, showcasing their support for Annamalai's candidature.
