Water Level Status of Dams under PAP Scheme as on March 28

As of the morning of March 28, water levels at key dams in the PAP irrigation scheme are reported by water resource officials, including 7.48 feet at Sholayar, 21.40 feet at Parambikulam, 55.55 feet at Aliyar, and 56.41 feet at Thirumurthy.


Tirupur: Water resource officials have updated the water levels in the major dams associated with the Parambikulam Aliyar Project (PAP) irrigation scheme as of 8 AM, March 28. The current readings show that the Sholayar Dam holds a water level of 7.48 feet, while the Parambikulam Dam's level stands at 21.40 feet. The Aliyar and Thirumurthy Dams have water levels of 55.55 feet and 56.41 feet respectively.

These figures are crucial for the agricultural activities and water supply management in the region, reflecting the ongoing water resource management efforts under the PAP scheme.
