Coimbatore to be hotter than Chennai this week: Meteorological Center, Chennai

The Chennai Meteorological Center forecasts higher temperatures in Coimbatore compared to Chennai this week, with temperatures ranging from a minimum of 23°C to a maximum of 37°C on March 28, and increasing to 38°C by March 29.


Coimbatore: The Chennai Meteorological Center released its weekly weather forecast for Coimbatore on March 27, predicting hotter conditions than Chennai. Temperatures are expected to range between 23°C and 37°C on March 28, with a slight increase to a maximum of 38°C from March 29. This trend is anticipated to continue until April 2.In Chennai, the forecast for March 28 indicates temperatures will vary between 25°C and 35°C, maintaining this range until March 31.

On April 1, temperatures are expected to rise slightly to a maximum of 36°C, continuing into April 2.

Madurai is also set to experience higher temperatures, with forecasts predicting a minimum of 25°C and a maximum of 38°C for March 28, escalating to 39°C from March 29 to April 2.

Puducherry's weather from March 28 to March 31 will see temperatures fluctuating between 24°C and 35°C, with an increase to a maximum of 36°C on April 1 and 2, according to the Chennai Meteorological Center.
