Coimbatore: In a commemorative event at Dharapuram, Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare, Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, adorned Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s portrait with garlands and showered it with flowers at her camp office.

The event marked the 135th birth anniversary of the law luminary, Dr. Ambedkar. Prominent figures including Dharapuram DMK city division secretary Muruganandam, city council chairman Pappu Kannan, Erode parliamentary constituency’s in-charge Kottai Abbas, district lawyer team leader Selvaraj, along with DMK city councilors and ward leaders, participated in paying respects.
The assembled leaders and personnel present highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions to the Indian constitution and social justice, emphasizing the importance of remembering his legacy in today’s societal context.
