Coimbatore North Round Table 20 partnered with NEO MOTION and ZOMATO to aid 22 disabled individuals by providing them specialized electric scooters, enabling livelihood through mobility.
Coimbatore: In an empowering initiative for the differently-abled, Coimbatore North Round Table 20 collaborated with NEO MOTION and ZOMATO to launch the 'Livelihood on Wheels' project. A total of 22 specially designed electric scooters were distributed to disabled individuals in Coimbatore to assist them in earning a living through enhanced mobility.
The electric wheelchairs, named "NEO FLY" and "NEO BOLT," are tailored to improve both indoor and outdoor mobility, offering new employment opportunities by making transportation accessible and convenient. Each unit is priced at around 1.2 lakhs, aiming to facilitate the independence and integration of differently-abled persons into the workforce.

All 22 beneficiaries have been registered with ZOMATO and will commence their new roles with immediate effect, marking a significant step towards self-sufficiency and economic empowerment. The initiative was supported by prominent members from Coimbatore North Round Table 20 and Coimbatore North Ladies Circle 11 including Rahul Rajan, Dipender Singh, Pankaj Bhaiya, and Aiswarya.
