Coimbatore Witnesses Intense  Final Day of Campaigning for Lok Sabha Polls

In Coimbatore, the last day of campaigning for the Lok Sabha election saw intense campaign activity from DMK, AIADMK, and BJP as they rallied to gain voter support ahead of the polls on April 19.

Coimbatore: As the campaigning for the upcoming Lok Sabha election on April 19 draws to a close, Coimbatore has become the epicenter of political fervor with major parties concluding their efforts vigorously. DMK, AIADMK, and BJP have mobilized large crowds, campaigning energetically to woo the voters.

DMK’s campaign peaked with Youth Wing President and Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin speaking at Singanallur, pushing for votes for candidate Ganpathi Rajkumar and highlighting DMK's tailored manifesto for Coimbatore. He also emphasized the success of the "Magalir Urimai Thogai Thittam" scheme, benefiting over 5 lakh women in the region.

AIADMK's Singai Ramachandran, accompanied by senior leaders, paid homage to Dheeran Chinnamalai, showcasing their dedication to regional heritage. From the onset of their campaign, senior party functionaries and MLAs actively campaigned for their candidate throughout the parliamentary constituency.

BJP's Annamalai canvassed in residential areas, presenting PM Modi’s leadership as crucial for the nation's future, and made a poignant visit to Nana Nani, a community for the elderly, to seek their blessings rather than campaign directly.

With the election around the corner, all parties are on their final stretch to solidify support, while election authorities remain vigilant against electoral malpractices like cash for votes.
