The 1st Annual day and Graduation day of Nehru Kids Academy of Nehru Group of Institutions hosted today at the Nehru College Seminar Hall, Kuniamuthur.  Dr. K. Nanthini, Principal, Nehru Institute of Management Studies was the chief guest for this programme. The chief guest distributed graduation certificates to 145 students.

In her address, she stated that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and our Former President Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam had lot of love and affection towards children. Likewise we should also shower our love and affection in upbringing children.

“Teachers and parents should take utmost care in the growth and development of the children. Children will have the physical, psychological and mental growth according to their age, hence we should patiently nurture the children. Children will have their own imagination and enjoy their way of exploring things around them, kindly do not thrust your expectation in the children.”

“A humble request to parents, do not fight with each other in the presence of your children and understand their mentality. You must attempt to go down to their level and nurture them. Render lots of love and moral support to them and allow them to growth at their own pace. Do not project your stress and tension towards the children. Today’s generation are addicted to mobile and computer games,  it is the primary duty of the parents to curtail this and give them training in our traditional games and defense sports.”

Shahira Sultana, Centre Head, Nehru Kids Academy welcomed the gathering. Dr.P.Krishna Kumar, Director, NKA presided over the function, Dr.Chantinya Krishnakumar, Principal, Nehru Kids Academy felicitated the gathering.  As a part of the programme, children exhibited their talents in the various extra-curricular activities by performing various cultural events.
