Coimbatore: In a significant political event, the Information Technology Minister M.P. Saminathan along with his wife Umadevi and daughter Samyuktha, voted early today at the Muthur Municipality Middle School, located in Tirupur district. Post-voting, Saminathan stated his confidence that the DMK alliance will secure a victory in all 40 constituencies of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, reflecting strong assurance in the current administration's governance.

He further discussed the ongoing EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) case, mentioning that although it is currently postponed by the court, any problems during the ongoing elections might lead them to seek legal recourse again. Speaking to the press, Saminathan highlighted the unity and enthusiasm within the DMK ranks and declared a secure future for the India Alliance government, dismissing any speculation about election integrity due to the EVM issue.
