Pollachi Constituency Records a 70.67 percent Voter Turnout in 2024 Elections

Starting with a modest 9.13 percent turnout at 9 AM, there was a notable increase in voter presence as the day progressed, with Pollachi Assembly Constituency leading the surge at a remarkable 74.28 percent by the end of the polling hours.



Coimbatore: The 2024 elections have marked a significant turnout in the Pollachi Parliamentary Constituency, with the final polling percentage reaching 70.67%. The six assembly constituencies within Pollachi, including Thondamuthur, Kinathukadavu, Pollachi, Valparai (SC), Udumalai, and Madathukulam have shown enthusiastic voter participation throughout the polling day.

Starting with a modest 9.13% turnout at 9 AM, there was a notable increase in voter presence as the day progressed, with Pollachi Assembly Constituency leading the surge at a remarkable 74.28% by the end of the polling hours. Valparai (SC) followed closely with a 70.58% turnout, while the total electorate of over 1.5 million made their voices heard through the ballot.



The day concluded with heightened electoral activities, and the EC has commended the orderly conduct of the voting process across all constituencies.
