According to the latest figures, the airport recorded a 4.8% rise in international aircraft movements, up from 1,278 in the previous year to 1,339. There was also a 4.2% increase in domestic aircraft movements, escalating from 16,364 to 17,057.
The passenger traffic figures are even more impressive. International passenger numbers surged by 8.4%, from 194,817 in the previous fiscal year to 211,087. The domestic sector saw a robust growth of 14%, with passenger numbers rising from 2,362,446 to 2,693,524.
