Tirupur: Authorities were alerted to the presence of an unidentified male body near the five-road junction in Dharapuram. Following the tip-off, Dharapuram Police Assistant Investigator Syed responded to the scene and arranged for the body to be sent to Dharapuram Government Hospital for autopsy.
Preliminary information revealed that the unidentified man had traveled from Palani to Dharapuram by bus, alighted at Dharapuram bus station, and after drinking tea at a local shop was overwhelmed by the heat and collapsed at the roadside where he was later found dead.
