On May 3, near a public restroom on Selvapuram Sakkampalayam road, Coimbatore, a vehicle check led to the arrest of four men plotting a murder.
Coimbatore: In a significant operation, the Selvapuram police, led by Inspector Rajeswari and Sub-Inspector Palanisamy, conducted a vehicle check operation near a public restroom on Selvapuram Sakkampalayam Road. During the check, they intercepted a two-wheeler carrying four individuals. Upon further investigation, it was uncovered that they were heading to commit a murder.
The suspects were identified as Satheesh, 45, from Selvapuram North Housing Unit, Sasikumar, 34, from Krishnanagar, Sivakumar, 34, from Sundakkamuthur, and Venkatesh, 52, from Gokulam Colony. The target was reportedly the brother-in-law of Venkatesh's sister. Following the investigation, all four were arrested and later presented to the court, which remanded them to custody.
