Elephant Named 'Baahubali' Chases Car on Samayapuram Road

An elephant, referred to as 'Baahubali', chased a car on Samayapuram Road early on May 6 as it attempted to cross from Mettupalayam Bhavani River to Nelli Malai forest area.


Coimbatore: In a startling incident early this morning on May 6, an elephant nicknamed 'Baahubali' chased after a parked car on Samayapuram Road.



The elephant was attempting to traverse from the Bhavani River in Mettupalayam to the forested area of Nelli Malai. As it crossed the road, it aggressively approached a car caught in its path, causing panic. Fortunately, the quick reactions of the driver who drove the car forward saved his life.



Following this, Baahubali continued to walk majestically down the road, witnessed by a large number of local residents, who stood by watching the scene unfold, leading to a stir in the area.
