100 Percentage Success Rate for Inmates in Class 12 Public Exam at Coimbatore Central Prison

All 21 inmates of Coimbatore Central Prison who appeared in the 12th grade public exam for the academic year 2023-2024 achieved success, with the top scorers standing out in their results.


Coimbatore: In a remarkable educational accomplishment, 21 inmates housed at Coimbatore Central Prison have all passed their +2 public examinations, registering a 100% success rate. Hosting over 2300 inmates, the prison facilitates rehabilitative activities such as yoga, education, and vocational training as part of its reintegration programs. The results, released on May 6 by the government's education department, celebrated successful outcomes for all participating inmates.

Prisoner Subburaj, scoring 464 out of 600, secured the top position, followed by Mansoor Ahmad with 457, and Mohanraj with 447 securing second and third positions, respectively. These achievements highlight the effectiveness of the education programs implemented within the facility.

M. Senthilkumar, the Superintendent of Coimbatore Central Prison, distributed sweets and discussed the importance and benefits of education, congratulating the inmates and lauding the educators for their outstanding efforts. G. Shanmugasundaram, the Deputy Director of Coimbatore Prison Department, also extended his congratulations to the successful inmates and commended all officers involved for their exceptional service.
