Coimbatore: In a recent visit, Coimbatore District Collector, Kranthi Kumar Pati, IAS, accompanied by Assistant Election Officer Catherine Saranya, IAS, inspected the enhanced security measures at the Pollachi parliamentary constituency vote counting center, located in Mahalingam Engineering College on Udumalai Road.

They reviewed the three-layered security protocols safeguarding the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
The inspection focused on the overall security setup and the operational status of surveillance cameras installed within the Strong Room area where the EVMs are stored. The officials interacted with the police personnel on duty, ensuring that all security measures were appropriately enforced and that the surveillance systems were fully functional.
