A grand music concert marked its 32nd year at the Kozhumam Kottai Mariamman Temple Festival near Madathukulam, Tirupur district, featuring key figures and dignitaries.
Coimbatore: The Kozhumam Kottai Mariamman Temple near Madathukulam in Tirupur district celebrated its annual Chithirai Festival with a special music concert now in its 32nd year. The event was led by Deputy General Secretary Kozhumam Thamotharan and inaugurated by State Leader Subhash. The concert drew a sizable audience, including National Executive Committee members Sathyam Babu and Mohanraj, State Deputy Leader Prabhakaran, Coimbatore District Leader Arun, Tirupur District's prominent figures like Leader Vijayan, Secretary Murali, Treasurer Kannan, Auditor, and Public Relations Officer Udamalai Selvaraj. Additionally, Kozhumam Panchayat Leader Ragupathi, Vice Leader Laxmanaraj, Union Deputy Secretary Kanagaraj, Shankaram Nalloor Peruratchi Leader Mallika Karuppu Samy, Vice Leader Premalatha Uthamaraj, ADMK Secretary Annadana Prabhu, and Shankaram Nalloor Peruratchi 7th Ward ADMK Secretary Chakkarapani, along with many others from the local political circles and public representatives such as Madathukulam South Union Secretary Sivalingam, Kumralingam Peruratchi Leader Sharmila Banu, and Vice Leader Alagirisami, actively participated. The festival, revered in the local calendar, was yet again a celebration of tradition combined with music, fostering communal harmony among attendees.
